And the winner is...

Candy Koepke! Congratulations on winning Simplistic Stamping's very first 50-50-50 drawing! The second drawing is filling up fast...so get another order in if you didn't win this round. I get through these drawings fairly quick!

If you haven't heard of the 50-50-50 drawing, here is how it works:
-For every $50 increment spent on products, I put your name in the drawing.
-When I have 50 names in the drawing, I draw for a $50 SU gift card!
*Only increments of $50 count towards drawings, any amount over $50 is not carried forward to your
       next purchase.
How easy is that?!

Petal Cone Die Ideas

I'll be honest...when I first saw the petal cone die in the Occassions Mini, it didn't really catch my eye. But I've seen lots of ideas online and now I love it! Here are just a few different ways of using it.

It makes a great treat holder and is super fast to make if you need a lot of them from friends, coworkers, etc. Crimping some scraps of old olive card stock is a quick way of making 'grass'.
Another variation is to trim the pointed ends off of the petal cone and can fold it in to a super cute box! It's a great way to get another use out of a die. You can fool everyone into thinking you spent so much time and money on different projects when really all you need is one die for your Big Shot :)

Starting a New Stamp Class!

Since I signed up to be a demonstrator, my goal was to get a class going. I'm happy to announce that April 16th will be the first stamp class! We will make 4 birthday cards for a fee of $10. If you place an order for $25 or more at the class, the fee will be waived.  This class will be held at Karen Lockner's house in Watertown starting at 1:00 pm (I can give you directions if you don't know where that is). Please RSVP by April 1st by sending me an email at simplisticstamping@gmail.com. If less than 5 people plan on attending, the class will be cancelled.

**Classes will be BYOA (bring your own adhesive...SNAIL or another kind you prefer) but any speciality adhesives needed to complete the project will be supplied. I will have some new SNAIL available at the class to be purchased if you run out, forget, etc.

I hope this turns out to be a success! If all goes well, I'd like to add different clubs and classes that focus on other projects than cards in the future. The plan is to have this class monthly.

So invite everyone you know and tell them to click 'follow' along the very top and then 'follow publicly' so I can put everyone's name in the drawing. I can't wait to get there!!
