Convention Swap - Blessed by God

I knew I needed Blessed by God as soon as I went through the new catalog. How pretty is it paired with the deep Blackberry Bliss paper (one of the new 2014-2016 In Colors)?! And I love the Lovely Lace embossing folder for just about any kind of occasion card! 

The cross is embossed with early espresso embossing powder and the sentiment is cut out with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies -- who would have thought that would have been so versatile?! And a little Venetian Crochet Trim really tied it all together (pun intended) :)

Convention Swaps - Friends Who Know

 I just got back from Inspire.Create.Share 2014 in Salt Lake City and it was AMAZING! I'm going to share some of my swaps that I took. The first one is this file tab folder. I LOVE this color combo - Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Crisp Cantaloupe. The Friends Who Know stamp set was one of the first stamps I knew I had to get from the 2014-2014 Annual Catalog. Blessings in a Box Service Project

Twice a year my group of Stamping Aunties does a service project for our community and combine it with our love for Stampin' Up! products in some way or another. This month we finished our kits that we call 'Blessings in a Box' that we will hand out to the homeless in our area asking for help. 

We decorated old Paper Pumpkin boxes and made a card for the top with MDS to lead them to some people in town that can help with anything they might need. 

We had shampoo, toothbrush/paste, soap, deodorant, sanitizer wipes, chapstick, sunscreen, a few quarters for phone calls or laundry, snacks, Tylenol and anything else we could fit in hah! They are filled to the max -- can't wait to help someone in need!

Retired List Blowout Sale & Maritime Card

Stampin' Up! is pinning awesome color combinations on their Pinterest board and here is one of them my group of Stamping Aunties was challenged with this week.

This is my take on the color combination! It uses the new Maritime DSP and coordinating stamp sets that will be available to order June 2nd. The circle framelits made the 'flotation device' a breeze :)

May Scrapbook Class

It's always hard to believe that these DSP sets that we've played with for a year are about to retire but I'm excited for all the always awesome new products and papers that are almost here! I live too far away to make to one of the Catalog Premiers that happened the other night -- super jealous!! I'm trying to wait patiently to be able to see the catalog and preorder ASAP :)

MDS Cowgirl Birthday

Georgia turned 1 over a month ago now! We had a fun cowgirl themed party. MDS is always my go-to party decoration maker! January Scrapbook Club

Just found this as a draft -- meaning I never published it way back in January :( Sad deal but here you go now!!!

Good morning everyone! Just a quick post of the 2 sets of pages we will be making this Thursday at Scrapbook club!

The first set of pages is CASEd from Jill's Card Creations -- I love the color combinations on her design!

And the bottom set of pages were inspired by a card Cherie Manderschied! I love the Champagne Glimmer paper :)

Circle Card Thinlits Die Mini Scrapbook

The Circle Card Thinlits Die (#133480) has a million possibilities!! I love adding them together to make these adorable mini scrapbooks -- or it could even be just one jumbo card for someone extra special. I really didn't think I would use much of the High Tide DSP (#132992) but I got in touch with my inner nautical and really enjoyed using it. I think the color combinations are what sold me once I started using it. Thank God for Stampin' Up! and their color coordination to make life easy!

An extra bonus with the thinlit set is the extra shapes you get with it -- I did a cluster of the stars for an extra accent!

Can you recognize what I used on the bottom?! It's the Summer Starfruit 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (#132980) all shredded up and stuck down on some sticky strip. I love how it has a sandy/beachy feel somehow!
