Our New Stamper Has Arrived!

Our newest stamper arrived last week and we are very excited and blessed to have her here with us! She will be well taken care of in our Stamping Aunties group of demos :) Here is Georgia --

I have a quick little project I put together using some scraps. Closet organizers for Georgia! I saw a lot of these on Pinterest when I was looking at nursery organization and I had to make my own. I used the 1" circle punch to round the corners and punch the circle. Then just cut a slit from the corner so I could hook it on the rod. I love the Big Shot letter & number dies to do little things like this...so quick and you never have to worry about running out of letters like you do with stickers from a store!

P.S. - This is definitely not all the clothes this girl has :)

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to get any Sale-a-bration orders in -- just 5 days left!!!!!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

I meant to get these projects posted before Valentine's Day but these could be adapted to lots of different occasions with the fun Oh, Whale stamp set!

I used the Two Tags die and the coordinating clearlit die for the whale stamp set to make these treats for Charlea to take to daycare. And nothing is complete for a daycare treat without a googly eye! The gusseted bags that were carried over from the holiday mini catalog are really easy to work with -- and a great value! I put a cupcake in a plastic cup so it would sit flat and they fit perfectly. The rose red seam binding is so easy to tie knots with too!

We've also been busy getting ready for baby #2 these last couple of weeks...only 2 1/2 more weeks until I'm due. I wanted to make something to give all the nurses & doctors at the hospital.

I used the Petite Purse die to create these fun little baby bags. I wanted to use up some scraps to cover the tops of the purses and the pockets are made with the modern label punch. And of course it wouldn't be complete without filling it with some raspberry hershey kisses!

Sample Club Projects

I've had quite a few questions about what kind of projects we will be making in the upcoming clubs that start....in just a few days -- ah! So since I don't have the samples made myself I'll share with you the ideas I'm case-ing and hopefully give credit to all the right people for their awesome ideas.

For the Punch Art club, we make 2 projects each week. January's projects will look something like this:

A cute little Valentine -- to spur your creative juices before the month-of :) And a fun little cow that will be a topper for a cello-bag with a fun straw or you could even put it on the side of a milk carton -- the possibilities are really endless!

For Scrapbook club, the layouts will be copied from my awesome upline, Kay Kalthoff -- I don't know how she comes up with such great stuff! The papers are subject to change but so you get a good idea....
This will be a great way to get some of those holiday pictures scrapped ASAP!
And you really can't go wrong with this elegant layout for remembering a special occasion.

And our Big Shot club with do 3 projects a month.

January can still be a great time to give gifts to friends -- it's not just for Christmas -- and these fun treats are perfect for coworkers or friends in a pinch.

You can join any of these clubs up until the day that they start -- but you'll want to let me know ASAP so I can have enough supplies. Email me at simplisticstamping@gmail.com or find me on Facebook by searching for Simplistic Stamping!

Ringing in the New Year with Clubs & Shares!

I can't believe it is 2013 already -- it is always amazing how fast the time goes! I wanted to start the year off with lots of great clubs and shares to help you meet some of your own crafting resolutions. So I've created these that can fit in to anyone's schedule and crafting ability! Please email me ASAP at simplisticstamping@gmail.com to get a spot so I can have enough supplies prepared.

If you have questions or want more details about any one of these clubs, call or email me and I'll be glad to send you more information and sample pictures of what we will be doing. These are great short term committment clubs to see how you like them. Plus you get the bonus of products at the end that you will feel prepared to use with all the new inspiration from club!

Stamp set of the month club is great if you are always on the go and want things ready when YOU are have the 5 spare minutes to do something you really enjoy! This is also good for beginners as pieces will be cut and you can just assemble easily! It all gets mailed right to your house at the end of each month. I'm just finishing up my first run of this club and the ladies really enjoy the flexibility of it. Sign up NOW -- you won't want to wait until July to get in on the next one!!

Do you look at the catalog and want EVERYTHING....IMMEDIATELY?! Then shares can help your checkbook and your stamp space out. Get a little of everything without paying for an abundance of supplies you never seem to use all up...even though they are SOOO cute. Do one or all of these shares -- you can do multiples of the same one even. These will run through May but you will want everything right away to create when you can.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I've been busy since Thanksgiving getting some Christmas projects done! I'm still working on getting a few more stockings made to add to our mantle. But in the mean time I did finish a no sew ruffle tree skirt with the Candy Cane Christmas material that is only $.99 a pack right now! I stocked up to insure I didn't run out in case more coordinating stockings need to be made in the future ;)

I stole this idea straight from Pinterest -- don't you love Pinterest?! And of course I had to make a fun Advent calendar for Charlea this year. I used the Snow Festival DSP from the holiday catalog and the 25 & Counting stamp set....and of course glimmer paper :)

It'll be sad to see some of the awesome things from the holiday catalog go away but Stampin' Up! always comes through with as great of a catalog!
I have a few more craft shows lined up -- this weekend I'll have booths at Cornerstone UMC in Watertown and Astoria Vendor Show -- both on Saturday. So come by and check it out -- we will be taking orders for these fun onesies. Just $15 for an adorable Santa suit for all your little munchkins!

I hope you are busy crafting this December to make your holidays homemade and memorable!

Rising Star Trip

I am so blessed to have achieved the Rising Star award this summer! The trip to the home office this week was amazing!!

Day 1: We travelled all day and got together for supper at an adorable Italian restaurant. It was so pretty in Utah with the snow...unlike South Dakota snows ha! It was our first chance to meet the other Rising Stars! Here is the group of achievers...
In true Stampin' Up! style, the table was decorated with lots of personal touches. I love the coordinating projects -- the menu, the flower brooch, and awesome new business cards with the Rising Star logo!
And it is always a fun time getting to meet the demonstrator training team that we always see in videos or events -- they really are just as friendly and funny in person as they are at events!

Day 2: We got to work right away in the morning at the home office in Riverton. All the corporate team was there to greet us at the door...they always make you feel welcome! We toured the offices and the distribution center. They even let us fill the boxes of orders on the pick line...hectic! It's amazing more orders don't have problems. We got to meet with other people in the company too. These are a few of the illustrators for all the stamp sets -- I couldn't even imagine being that creative! I remember the gal on the left came up with Lovely as a Tree set and lady on the right designed Greeting Card Kids.
We also met with one of the designers that pick the colors and all the patterns that are in style for the catalog. Then it was more business training the rest of the day!

Day 3: The last day came too quick! We had more training in the morning with lots business tips and times to share with the other Rising Stars. Then we got to do make and takes with some products from the spring catalog that doesn't start until January! The project designers that make all the samples that are shown in catalogs helped us make them (what a cool job!).
We spent a little time out on the town in Salt Lake City and closed the trip at a Brazilian steakhouse eating with the corporate team again. Shelli and Sara -- they are so nice!
And of course we had to finish off the trip with even more awesome gifts to spoil us! A super nice leather bag, a personalized stamp with the Rising Star logo, and a journal made in MDS to write down all our new business ideas! I just barely got everything back in my suitcase to bring home :)

Stampin' Up! always treats their demonstrators amazing -- and thank you to all my customers, family, and friends that encouraged me and helped me get this award! I couldn't have made it without you and I enjoyed every minute of sharing what I love :)
