May Stamp Club

Wow -- where did May go to?! I'm getting this posted just in time! We've been down and out the last couple of weeks with the flu -- hopefully we get a break for awhile now! This month's stamp set of the month is Amazing Family. It debuted in the Spring Mini but is carried over to the 2013-2014 Annual Catalog -- so there is still time to get this one.

Today starting at 1 PM Mountain time, you can order from ALL THREE CATALOGS! Today is the last day to order from the Spring catalog. Order from the 2012-2013 Annual Catalog through June 3rd. And starting today, you can order from the new 2013-2014 Annual Catalog. SO AWESOME!!!

I'll be honest...I was being too lazy to get out my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the 'You're such an amazing' with the other words. But to my surprise, it was pretty easy to stamp them straight! I was worried about that with this set but it was no big deal.

This color inspiration was pulled from the Print Poetry DSP Stack (#129312) -- last day to order it!! The twine added enough but kept it 'manly'!

What mother wouldn't love to get a pretty card like this?! So Saffron, Lucky Limeade, and Primrose Petals make a pretty palette.

And this is the card that members get to recreate at home with their new sets. I stamped En Francais off and then on the vanilla to give it a more distressed looked. And Swallowtail grows on me more every time I use it!

Thanks for stopping by!! Stay tuned for information on the new catalog product shares. Email me today to get your hands on the new catalog!!

Hangover Kit

A few weeks ago I had a post about some bachelorette party invitations (see it HERE) I made and today I'm sharing these cute Hangover Kits that go with. They are so simple and a fun favor to give as a thank you to everyone that can make it!

It was a lot of fun thinking of some things to throw in the bag -- the possibilities are really endless but I went with water, a granola bar, a few band aids, hand sanitizer, some breath mints, and a little paper bag. Oh! And don't forget the Tylenol!!

I made the tags in MDS and printed them out on my computer. Then I just jazzed them up with some silver glimmer paper -- everything is better with glitter!

Don't forget you only have about another week to get anything on the Retired List!

Can't wait for the new catalog to start! Thanks for stopping by!

Graduation Hats

It's graduation season! There are so many cute cards for graduates. I really like this style I made here for a good friend that just got her college degree!

It can easily be changed for any different school colors and gender neutral. I love the sparkle of the Glimmer Paper for the year -- it really adds a lot to a simple card! The hats come together quick and you can mass produce them with ease! See the video I followed to make the hats by clicking HERE.

And a simple greeting on the inside of the card is a nice touch to jazz it up a bit -- and maybe a good solution if you don't like writing a long message! :) This is a stamp that is now retired. I really like the sayings but I don't have the set. No worries with MDS though! You can get the digital download for cheap and print them out on your home computer! Love that tip!!

April Stamp of the Month Club

I've got babies on the brain!! This month's stamp set of the month was Cuddles & Kisses from the Spring Mini Catalog. And what a cute set it is!
Members will get these 3 cards with their stamp set plus the scraps to make the footprint card in the middle. It is my favorite card this month..and EASY!

It'll be sad to see Wisteria Wonder go at the end of May but there will be great new In Colors to replace it. It was a sigh of relief when I saw Pool Party was carried over!! Watch this video for a reminder of all the color changes going on with the Color Refresh.

And look at this cute kit that Stampin' Up! just announced this morning! Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.

As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen"! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to give a little "thank you" to-and introduce them to Stampin' Up!  It's ONLY while supplies last you order now in my online store -- just $12.95!!

Kit Contents:
  • 2 sheets of preprinted and precut flowers on 12" X 12" cardstock; makes 13 flowers using Pool Party, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry
  • 13 Vintage Faceted Buttons
  • 13 green floral wire stems

Bachelorette Invites

I am so excited I got the chance to make invitations for a friend's bachelorette party! There are so many different ideas on Pinterest these days but when I saw this corset style one I knew it was the winner.

Just another project that I couldn't have done without framelits! I used the largest heart that is scalloped to make the top and the oval framelits to cut out the sides.

This inside pulls out for all the party details -- it is so easy making your own invitations on MDS (Hello, free 30 day trial people!!). I was able to make the project just the right size before I started typing so I didn't have to mess around while printing (I love that feature of MDS).

Just a few more days before the Retired List comes out so stay tuned!! You won't want to miss any of the deals. I got a sneak peek Saturday night of the new catalog and I get preorder stuff on Wednesday and I can't hardly wait!! I love this time of year with Stampin' Up! There is always so much going on. Don't forget about the Color Refresh going on!!

And even better -- get more for your money right now! Either join the SU fun or host a party!!

Big Shot Club

Another mini club starting in May is the Big Shot Club -- this was a favorite last go around! May's club features the milk carton die. I never would have thought that you could do anything else but milk cartons with it but that couldn't be further from the truth!

It is hard to see in the picture but the bunny is actually open on the top -- perfect for treats. The box in the middle is made by putting 2 milk cartons together and the roof on the bird house opens up. But you really need to sign up for the club to learn all the tricks for these projects!! Email me ASAP to reserve a spot or check out my website by clicking HERE. Here are all the details of the club:
