Stamp of the Month Club -- Zoo Babies

I couldn't wait for August's stamp set of the month club! I LOVE Zoo Babies. It was literally the first set I ordered from the Annual Catalog. So along with the stamp set, members received these 3 cards and the pieces to make the zebra card at home.

This little rhino card was cased from Mary Fish. The circle framelits make it so easy to add dimension to your card.

The new prints in the Designer Series Paper stacks are fabulous! I love chevron! And this zebra is my favorite from the set.

Winter Frost

There are so many awesome new things in the Holiday Catalog! Email me if you didn't receive your's in the mail and would like one. 

This is a card we made at my Cards & Cocktails open house. I'm not ready for winter by any means but it seems to come every year in South Dakota whether I approve of it or not. So I embraced with this cool card. I LOVE the new DSP. All the blues blend together so well. I'm so excited about the new Thinlits to create the 'Merry'! Tip: Use a piece of wax paper between your paper and thinlit to make it pop off even easier. I use them so much...in card making and scrapbooking!

Altered Notebooks

One of the best parts of having an Annual Catalog in your hands is CASE-ing all the great ideas in there. This notebook is from page 67.

I've had the Everything Eleanor set for almost a year without using it (really sad). I was really missing out!

And with school starting again, wouldn't it be a little bit better with a fun notebook instead of the same old dreary composition notebook?! Check out these other 2 I made.

Right after I took this picture I spilled a glass of water and it splashed all over these 2...pretty klutzy! But I managed to save them. Luckily SU's cardstock is such good quality! Thanks for stopping by!

Quatrefancy Scrapbook Pages

Fun on the 4th

I had a blast at a craft retreat this past weekend. I was lucky enough to spend 4 days with 6 other ladies and create some fun memories at a beautiful cabin in Garfield, MN (Friends Forever Retreat). Hopefully we can make it an every year event and maybe you will even join us! One of the many pages I got done was this 4th of July layout from early in the month.

I love how easy the DSP paper packs and the Polka Dot Parade DSP make an easy background. The Simply Stars set was one of the first sets I noticed in the new catalog and it is really easy to snip around. Thanks for stopping by!
